Depressed over Sushant Singh Rajput's death, a 13-year-old female fan has reportedly died due to suicide after leaving a suicide note behind
It was on June 14 that Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode after dying due to suicide in his Mumbai apartment. The Kedarnath actor was reportedly suffering from depression and the last few days only escalated his condition. Ever since then, the police investigation in his death case is going on in full swing with more than 30 people being interrogated so far. Sushant's death has left an irreparable void in all his fans' hearts. Now, if a report in TOI is anything to go by, a teenage female fan, too, has followed his footsteps and took her life as she wasn't able to cope with the actor's demise.
The report states how the 13 years old, who was an ardent fan of the late actor, was said to be depressed due to his death. She allegedly took her life in Chhattisgarh’s Durg district on Wednesday night. Her death was confirmed by the police on Thursday morning. Quoting the deceased teenager's family, the police revealed that she was alone when the tragedy took place. The police officials, in their statement, said, "When the girls’ parents returned, they found the door locked from inside. The father entered the house from the backyard and found his daughter hanging from the ceiling."
Further, they stated that suicide note, too, was recovered. "We have also recovered a suicide note purportedly written by the late teenager that said that she was ending her life because she did that actor Sushant has left the world,” added the police.
The cops further stated that they are investigating the case from all angles and will be matching the handwriting of the girl with the one on the alleged suicide note. The deceased’s father said to local media that she was depressed after Sushant's demise and was constantly watching his videos and songs of his films.
