Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise has left the entire nation shocked, and people are still reeling from the news of his sudden and tragic death. The actor died due to suicide on Sunday morning at his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. Social media was flooded with the film industry as well as the actors’ fans expressing their grief, mourning the huge loss. Deepika Padukone shared a message telling people they are not alone, while Shah Rukh Khan also shared a post grieving the loss. Salman Khan wrote that Sushant will be missed.

The nepotism debate began on social media after Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise. Not just Karan Johar, Salman Khan also faced flak on Twitter. Netizens recalled Salman’s tiff with Vivek Oberoi, while some also brought up singer Arijit Singh’s apology to Salman. However, Salman’s fans came to his defense, and showed their support to Salman, saying he was being targeted unnecessarily. Many of his fans pointed out that Salman Khan never stopped anyone from working with Vivek, and has in fact revived careers of many celebrities.
