Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has created a shockwave across the nation. The actor died by suicide on June 14, and his untimely death left everyone shocked. In the days following his demise, there was outrage on social media, and debates about nepotism in Bollywood and other issues were reignited. The final post mortem report of Sushant Singh Rajput confirmed that he died due to asphyxia, suffocation, because of hanging; and also ruled out any foul play. However, Netizens suspect something more and have now urged the Union Home Minister to look into this matter and demanded a CBI inquiry in Sushant’s suicide case.

#AmitShahDoJusticeForSSR was trending on Twitter as Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans demanded a CBI probe into Sushant’s death. While one tweet read, “Govt we are seeking your help to start the cbi enquiry as early as possible. Please show some humanity. We are requesting for a CBI enquiry for such a long time .. please @PMOIndia#CBIEnquiryForSSR #AmitShahDoJusticeForSSR,” another tweet read, “I request the Honorable Home Minister that please have a CBI inquiry into Sushant Singh's murder so that justice can be done with the real actors of this country. #AmitShahDoJusticeForSSR.”

Another user brought to notice about the case of custodial deaths of Jayaraj and Fenix and how the Tamil Nadu government transferred the probe to CBI; and that the same should be done in Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case. “The Tamil Nadu government has indeed taken an appreciative step towards justice for Jayraj and Fennix by transferring the probe to CBI. Every brutal act of mankind demands justice and so does our beloved SSR. Iss baar chup nahi baithenge!!!! #AmitShahDoJusticeForSSR.”


Meanwhile, Shekhar Suman has started a forum  #justiceforSushantforum and sought support from fans to pressurize the government to launch a CBI inquiry in Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide. Shekhar Suman also tweeted that he believes there’s more to this than meets the eye. He is off to Patna, to meet Sushant’s father and to urge Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to press for a CBI inquiry into Sushant’s suicide.
