Singer Sona Mohapatra who had accused Kangana Ranaut of doing a disservice to feminism by washing her dirty linen in public in 2017 has once again lashed out at her. Sona Mohapatra who is known for voicing her opinion bluntly has reshared the article questioning her opinion on Kangana at that time and also mentioned those who hated her for it should know she smelt the problem a mile away. Sona who keeps taking a jibe at Kangana after that for speaking out about the blatant sexism, nepotism and violence in the film industry. 

And now once again after Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput's death, Kangana had claimed that the actor had taken the step of suicide as he was  feeling sidelined in the industry. Though the mystery around his death is far from resolved and a CBI investigation is currently underway, Kangana has come on radar of many for her recent statements. She is believed to have called Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty a gold digger, Tapsee Pannu a Sastee Copy, Urmila Matondkar a soft porn star and Sonam Kapoor a mafia bimbo, something which has not gone down too well. Now Sona took to twitter blasting Kangana for her words and for tring to use Sushant's tragic death for her agendas. Sona in her tweet says, "The number of misogynistic slurs spilling from her mouth now makes me wonder about the ‘feminist scholars’ who had hated on me in 2017 when I’d called out Kangana. My choice of words I’m not too proud of but nevertheless had smelt the problem a mile away". In her another tweet she continued, "Calling others Gold digger, mafia bimbo, Sasti copy, Soft porn star ?!?Playing the messiah of the masses by using a tragic death is the worst act of opportunism. Doesn’t make you the pillar of virtue,justice or the flagbearer of “Hindu Cultural values”, Highlights the worst side".
