It's been a year today since actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away. Today marking his first death anniversary on June 14 2021 we saw social media platforms filled with posts remembering the actor. His debut film, Kai Po Che's director Abhishek Kapoor remembering him shared that though it's been one year the numbness still remains. He dropped a picture from the movie, Kedarnath along with his post. Abhishek Kapoor was the first one to launch Sushant Singh Rajput in Bollywood, after the actor’s successful run in the TV industry.
Kai Po Che starred Rajkummar Rao and Amit Sadh in the parallel lead. Abhishek’s Instagram caption read, “1yr today.. still numb#omnamahshivaya #sushantsinghrajput #superstar forever” While his last movie Dil Bechara’s director Mukesh Chhabra too poured his heart out in his Instagram caption, remembering the late actor. Dropping some unseen pictures of the actor’s happy times, he stated that everything has changed after his death and the feeling of emptiness now exists in his life. At the end of his note he hopes to see the late actor once again.

For Kai Po Che that marked the late actor’s debut in Bollywood, he had won in the male debut award category of Producers Guild Film Awards and Screen Awards.
