After Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on June 14, 2020, and post series of allegations were made on his alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, now she has finally broken her silence and opened up about her relationship with SSR in conversation with India Today. Amidst the allegations made on her by SSR’s father KK Singh in his FIR, were reports about her rapport with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt which had also sparked debates. The actress shared a close bond with the Bhatt camp and was also seen in the movie Jalebi, produced by Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt.

Quizzing the actress about her leaked conversation with Mahesh Bhatt on the day she left Sushant’s residence, she mentioned in reply Mahesh being like a father figure to her contrary to the media reports which claimed her to be his girlfriend.  The actress confessed of making a call to Bhatt after SSR asked her to allegedly leave his residence, neglecting the fact that she too was suffering from anxiety attacks which left her helpless and broken. Further revealing about her addressing Mahesh Bhatt as ‘Sir’ and him addressing her as ‘Child’, compelling the actress to ask why can’t she take advice from people.

When the actress was asked about Mahesh Bhatt asking her to leave SSR, she firmly replied no. Watch the video clip below-

Rhea Chakraborty’s father was mobbed by the media stationed near the residence, followed by her father filing a complaint at the Santacruz police station.
