Sushant Singh Rajput's Death Case: AIIMS Releases Statement Over Dr Sudhir Gupta's Alleged Leaked Audio Tape
Earlier today, an audio tape of Dr Sudhir Gupta, a forensic expert from AIIMS made it to the news channels. The tape reportedly had him talking about Sushant Singh Rajput's death, suggesting that it could be a case of murder as he raised several questions. However, the recently submitted report by the AIIMS team designated to reassess Sushant's post-mortem and other reports stated that his death was a clear case of suicide and no foul play was observed. Post the audio, many including Sushant's sister Shweta raised questions over the 'u-turn' of doctor Sudhir Gupta. Now, as reported by Republic, AIIMS has issued a statement over this.

The statement reads, "A Medical Board was constituted by Dr. Sudhir K Gupta, Professor & Head, Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, AIIMS, New Delhi as per request received by him from CBI for providing expert opinion in the case relating to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The medical board has submitted the report directly to the CBI as required. Being a legal matter, any inputs on the report submitted by the Medical Board would have to be obtained from the CBI."

AIIMS has made it clear that the designated team has submitted the report to CBI and any further inputs on the same, are now to be obtained from the CBI.

Republic also reported about the statement issued by the Central Bureau Of Investigation post the audio leak of the doctor suggesting that the homicide angle hasn't been ruled out yet in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case and a probe is on keeping in mind all the angles.
