After Sushant Singh Rajput’s case is handed over to CBI, member of Rajya Sabha and NCP chief, Sharad Pawar questions the importance that the media is giving to Sushant's suicide case
After an intervention of CBI on Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case, every detail of it is considered to be shocking and explosive. His death has become of national concern but on the other side, member of Rajya Sabha and NCP chief, Sharad Pawar questions the importance that the media is giving to Sushant's suicide case. According to a report in ANI, Sharad Pawar expressed his grief and said that the demise was unfortunate but he is unable to understand why there's so much discussion happening around Rajput's case. Pawar said a lot of importance is given to the case by the media while they are not giving as much time to the farmers who also die by suicide each year.
Talking about the same, Pawar said the farmers also die by suicide but media does not take note of that, “The suicide by the actor is unfortunate, but the way it is being discussed in the media is surprising. In my district, 20 farmers have died by suicide but no media has taken note of it,” his statement was carried by ANI. Pawar has said he has been watching the Mumbai Police for five decades and is confident that they would handle the probe well and a CBI probe which was granted some days by the Centre after the Dil Bechara actor's father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty is not needed.
Sharad Pawar also mocked his own grand-nephew Parth Pawar for his demand of CBI enquiry for Sushant Singh Rajput death case, where he stated that he doesn't give any importance to Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar's son while terming him as 'immature.' After he said this statement, social media users who have been supporting Sushant and fighting for him were seen criticising him.
