Sushant Singh Rajput's Family's Claim Of 15 Crore Being Siphoned Off By Rhea Falls Flat As Filmmaker Rumi Jaffery Reveals Not Paying Any Money- Watch Sting Operation

While the Narcotics Control Bureau is probing the drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, the Enforcement Directorate is still investigating the money laundering case filed against Rhea Chakraborty. Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh in his FIR reportedly mentioned that Rs 15 crore disappeared from his son's account and that there were financial irregularities. Post this, ED came into action and summoned Rhea Chakraborty several times for interrogation. Now a sting operation on filmmaker Rumi Jaffery has shed some light on this missing case of Rs 15 crore.

In an interview with India Today, Rhea Chakraborty had mentioned that Sushant and she were supposed to do a film with Rumi Jaffery and Vashu Bhagnani, terms of which were verbally agreed upon. However, due to the lockdown, the film could not take off. "In their meeting, perhaps Rs 15 crore was mutually decided as the signing amount between Sushant and Vashu sir. Sushant was very happy about this. This happened in the month of February," she had said. Now, India Today did a sting operation on Rumi Jaffery who stated that no signing amount was given to Sushant. He even stated that Rs 15 crore was not even the full price for the film.

Rumi Jaffery was quoted saying, "In this industry, no producer can pay Rs 15 crore even to top stars. This is not even the full price, leave alone signing amount." Further saying, "Why should the money be paid? No agreement was signed in the first place. It was his bad luck. The lockdown happened."

He further shared that the amounts are never fully paid to the artistes in one go. Some amount is paid as signing amount, some during the first schedule, during dubbing and so on. Check it out. 

The Enforcement Directorate has reportedly not found any concrete evidence against Rhea as of yet and no traces have been found of money laundering either.
