Though it’s been more than a year since Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode, his fans and family members are still struggling to come to terms with his tragic demise. His sister Shweta Singh Kirti often shares unseen and throwback photos of the late actor on social media. And, on the occasion of the New Year, Shweta used SSR’s Facebook account to extend heartfelt wishes for the New Year to his fans. This left the loyal fan base of the actor teary-eyed. Internet got numb while remembering Sushant with a heavy heart.
Shweta’s post read, “Wishing everyone a very happy new year and best of everything. This is Shweta Singh Kirti wishing all of you on Bhai’s behalf.” Shortly after her post, the comments section was flooded with netizens’ heartfelt wishes. Many users expressed their happiness, seeing Sushant’s account being active after such a long time.
One fan wrote, “Oh god my heart skip a beat.” Another said, “We love you Sushant ! Praying for justice in every breath. Love love love.”

For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020, at his Bandra residence. Reportedly, the Chhichhore actor was found hanging in his Mumbai apartment. Sushant was last seen in the 2020 release ‘Dil Bechara’ with Sanjana Sanghi. The Mukesh Chhabra directorial was released posthumously on Disney+ Hotstar.
