Sushant Singh Rajput’s Father Denies Speaking To Rhea Chakraborty; Says He Only Spoke To Ankita Lokhande, No Other Girl From Sushant’s Life
Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, on being asked if he ever spoke to Rhea Chakraborty, said that he has only ever spoken to Ankita Lokhande, and no other girl from Sushant’s life
Sushant Singh Rajput’s death came as a huge shock to his family, friends, colleagues from the film industry and his fans. Social media was flooded with posts mourning the actor’s demise, and grieving the huge loss. Sushant’s family, his co-stars and friends Kriti Sanon, Shraddha Kapoor, among others, attended his last rites. Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, who was shattered by the loss of his beloved son, has now spoken up in an interview and shared his feelings. He spoke briefly about a lot of things, including Ankita Lokhande being the only girl he ever spoke to from Sushant's life.
In a conversation with Tadka Bollywood, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father was asked if he ever spoke to Sushant’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. Replying to this question, Sushant’s father said, “Kaun?” He said no, he has only spoken to Ankita Lokhande all these years, and no other girl from Sushant’s life. Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput had been co-stars in the popular television show Pavitra Rishta, and were in a relationship for almost six years, after which they broke up.
Sushant’s father further revealed that he had met Ankita Lokhande not just in Mumbai, but also in Patna. “Ha wo aayi bhi thi, Bombay bhi aayi thi aur Patna bhi aayi thi,” he said.
Sushant Singh Rajput was cremated at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai, on June 15. His ashes were immersed in the Gange river, in Patna, by his family members. A prayer meet was also held for him in Patna by the late actor’s family.
