While fans continue to seek justice for late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, his death case took a drastic turn yesterday, after it was reported that his father KK Singh lodged an FIR in Patna. Sushant’s father lodged an FIR against his son’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her family, and his ex-business manager. Speaking to Republic TV, Sushant Singh Rajput's family's lawyer made explosive allegations against Rhea Chakraborty including many that were made by the late actor’s father in his FIR report. In the interview, Sushant’s family lawyer said, “The complete control of the mind can only be taken if the family is cut off. She (Rhea Chakraborty) refused to allow Sushant to talk to his father. On many occasions, he tried reaching his son through the bodyguards but was turned away. If he wasn't cut off from his family, he wouldn't have passed away this way. This crime has been completed over a period of time and has had extensive planning.”
While the lawyer mentioned how Rhea Chakraborty refused to allow Sushant to talk to his father when he tried reaching him, he also said that if the actor wasn’t cut off from his family, he wouldn’t have passed away this way. When questioned about what action will be taken next in the case, Sushant’s family lawyer said, “To my knowledge, the Patna police has made no attempt to arrest her yet. I hope they do it today." He then continued to share how he feels that Rhea Chakraborty must be arrested and said, "I don't think others need to be arrested, only Rhea at this point. 306 has 10-year punishment. FIR is detailed. If custodial interrogation has to happen, she has to be arrested."

Sushant’s family lawyer later said that the late actor was made into a mental case by her to control him completely. He alleged that Rhea administered unknown drugs and said that maybe it was a part of her grand design. The family lawyer then said that everything will be clear in the investigation. The lawyer also alleged that the Mumbai police were trying to derail the investigation and were not questioning the one’s required to be questioned. He also mentioned that a formal request was made to DCP Bandra on February 25, requesting the police to keep a close watch on Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer went on to reveal further how circumstantial evidence suggests that Rhea Chakraborty was not happy with the late actor’s involvement in organic farming. He said, "Circumstantial evidence suggest that Rhea was not happy with Sushant's involvement in organic farming. Investigation will reveal what impact she had on Sushant's mental framework, her role in the star's suicide and so on.” Apart from this, the lawyer also opened up on Sushant’s pattern of constantly checking him on Google. The family lawyer revealed that the late actor was very careful of his image, mainly after the demise of his ex-manager Disha Salian as he did not want his name to be wrongly associated. Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s lawyer also revealed how the actor had mentioned to his family about receiving threats. Talking about the FIR that has been lodged by Sushant’s father, 16 allegations are made against Rhea Chakraborty. Sushant Singh Rajput died due to suicide on June 14 and the Mumbai police have recorded the statements of over 30 people in connection to the death.
