Sushant Singh Rajput’s First Death Anniversary: Actor’s Sister Priyanka Singh Shares Pics From The Prayer Meet; Says ‘To Put It Simply, Life Without You Is Not The Same’
Sushant Singh Rajput’s family had organized a prayer meet in memory of the late actor. Now, Sushant’s sister Priyanka Singh took to her Instagram to share pictures from the prayer meet at their Patna home
It’s been a year since Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode. Sushant passed away on June 14 last year. And, the date today marks the first death anniversary of Sushant Singh Rajput. On this day, the actor’s family organized a prayer meet in his memory. Earlier, pictures of the family making preparations for the prayer meet surfaced in the public domain. Now, Sushant’s sister Priyanka Singh took to her Instagram to share pictures from the prayer meet at their Patna home.
Priyanka Singh made a post on her Instagram and shared a picture of her with her sisters Neetu Singh and Meetu Singh from the prayer meet. She posted the photo and penned her thoughts. Priyanka wrote, “To put it simply, life without you is not the same. After mom’s departure, we had the inspiration to make our lives worthwhile as a tribute to her love. While your absence has rendered it totally devoid of any bearings, mercy or hope.” She added, “The plethora of emotions that is our constant companion now, ranges from numbness, helplessness, hopelessness to desperation, anguish, agony & rage. Though your physical form no longer graces this earth, you are ever so close & present in each moment of our lives- walking, sleeping, dreaming throbbing in us with every pulse of life.” Singh continued, “Your presence is now as visceral as it is vital. You truly have become immortal... like forever. And yes, finding myself in this god-forsaken world without you, I suffer from survivor’s guilt.” She ended her post with two hashtags- ‘sushant singh Rajput and ‘immortal sushant’.

Priyanka Singh posted another photo from the prayer meeting. The heart-breaking picture shows Sushant’s pet Fudge sleeping on the floor, continuously gazing at the actor’s picture frame. SSR’s sister shared the picture, and wrote, “Also, those who are instrumental in your eradication should know it only too well that they have to pay.” Priyanka Singh added, “Law of Karma is law of Energy therefore exact and infallible. And for the first time I have this divine inspiration to pray: “For those responsible for this diabolical sin, May the wrath of Shiva (Nature) be upon you all with full force”
Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Mumbai’s Bandra apartment on June 14. According to a report by Times Now on Monday, AIIMS confirmed that the actor died by suicide.
