The death of Disha Salian on June 8, after she fell off the 14th floor of a highrise building in Malad’s Jankalyan Nagar, came as a shock. She was a celebrity manager in Cornerstone and had managed the work of celebs like Sushant Singh Rajput and Varun Sharma in the past. According to reports on the Internet, she was at dinner with her friends when the incident occurred. She was rushed to Shatabdi Hospital in Borivali where she was declared dead.
While it is still unconfirmed whether it was a suicide or an accident, there are reports suggesting that Disha had problems in her relationship with fiancé-actor Rohan Rai. While some reports claim that she might have fallen off as she was tipsy, there are reports that state that she had a fight with Rohan at the party. According to Peeping Moon, Disha and Rohan had been in a relationship for a long time and were also supposed to get married soon. Reportedly, the two had been having constant fights. The report states that on the night of Disha’s suicide, there had been a small party of about 8-10 television celebs at Rohan’s flat. Disha and Rohan seemed to have had a tiff after which the guests heard a loud noise, and a few minutes later, Disha was found dead.
Mumbai Police's Zone 11 DCP Mohan Kumar Dahikar told ABP News, "The incident took place at 1.00 am. Apart from Disha Salian, her fiancé Rohan Rai and her common friends were also present in the flat. After eating food and drinking alcohol, Disha went to the bedroom and closed the door from inside. She then jumped off the room’s window.”
Meanwhile, according to reports, Rohan Rai’s statements were varying, and he will be questioned once again by the police.
