Sushant Singh Rajput's MS Dhoni: The Untold Story Completes 4 Years Of Release; Throwback To The Time When SSR Revealed Asking 250 Question To The Cricketer
Sushant Singh Rajput was one of the most prolific actors Bollywood had ever witnessed. He had the ability to slip into any role with finesse. One of the best films of his short filmography has to be MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. For this film, Sushant Singh Rajput won many accolades as he could finely portray ace cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni on the screen. From his cricketing skills to mannerism, Sushant got everything right and the film went on to become a box office hit. It's been four years since then and sadly, Sushant is no more between us to enjoy the success. Remembering Sushant, here's a throwback to his prep for MS Dhoni The Untold Story.

In one of the interviews back in 2016, Sushant had revealed that he asked almost 250 questions to Mahendra Singh Dhoni in order to be able to dive deep into the character. "We had three sets of meetings during 12 months of prep. In our first meeting, I just asked him to narrate his story. In the second, I came up with 250 hypothetical multiple-choice questions for him. Since we already have a definition of ourselves in our head, when we answer normal questions, it comes from that. But when you do it on the basis of instinct, it’s a different story. In the third set of meetings, I asked him specific questions about script, things like ‘What were you thinking in that moment?’, just to be sure that I was going in the right direction," he was quoted saying.

In return, MS Dhoni praised Sushant for the effort he put in to excel in the film. Dhoni had said, "The kind of effort he has put in the film because one of the essential part of the film was cricket. Of course, all of us play cricket but when you have to show it on screen, you have to learn certain things, especially cricket shots. He has hit the helicopter shot in the movie and it’s exactly like a replica. So Sushant has put a lot of effort."
