Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput left the world in deep shock when he committed suicide in 2020. The actor was found hanging in his apartment. Years later his family, friends and fans are still awaiting justice. Amidst all the chaos, his girlfriend at the time Rhea Chakraborty came under the scanner. She was criticized, ridiculed and blamed for SSR’s death. She still faces a lot of backlash from the netizens. A few days ago, she had taken to her social media handle to announce her come back as a gang leader in MTV Roadies.

In the middle of all the chatter, SSR’s sister Priyanka Singh had gone on to pass derogatory remarks to an anonymous person. The netizens had chalked it up to her being upset of Rhea getting work opportunities. Now, days later she has yet again taken to Twitter to issue a clarification on her previous tweet. She went o to explain that her tweet wasn’t directed at a specific person like the media has been reporting. She wrote, “Just a clarification: My below tweet was not directed to any specific person as it has been reported in media which is ill-conceived and looks motivated. Fans came out in support of Priyanka in the comment section of her tweet. One wrote, “No need for clarifications di! We are with u till the end. Stay strong our Lioness We will win this battle despite of Continuous Betrayal InSSRCase.” Another wrote, “There's nothing in the tweet that should be reported didi… It was a general statement… If someone relates... Its their bussiness.... We all stand rock solid with you didi… Continuous Betrayal InSSRCase.”

A lot has been said and done when it comes to Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case. Not only did is manage to shed light on the dark side of Bollywood but it also opened up conversations surrounding mental health.
