Sushant Singh Rajput's Sister Shweta Requests For 'Early Decision' From Supreme Court; Says 'Every Minute Of Delay Is Causing Pain, Heartbreak'
It has been more than two months since Sushant Singh Rajput's unfortunate demise but the fight for his justice hasn't slowed down even a bit. The demand for CBI enquiry in Sushant's death case is not just limited to Twitter trends, but it has become a global movement now. Ahead of the Supreme Court's final judgement on Rhea Chakraborty's petition, the late actor's family and fans from across the globe want to get justice for the Kedarnath actor. His sister Shweta Singh Kirti, too, has been very active on social media and often wishes for the truth to come out through a CBI probe. Recently, Shweta took to her Twitter to share her two cents on SC's upcoming verdict.

In her tweet, Shweta wrote how she wishes to get an 'early decision' from the respected body and that every minute of delay is causing Sushant's family and fans a lot of pain and heartbreak. "Requesting for an early decision from the Supreme Court, we have been very hopeful and have been patiently waiting. Every minute of delay is causing pain and heartbreak. #CBIForSSR," wrote Shweta. In an interview with Republic, Sushant's family lawyer Vikas Singh, too, expressed his disappointment over the delay. He said, "I believe the delay is happening because the respected judge is writing a detailed judgement. What our expectation from the judiciary was that the nod to CBI should have been given that day itself, the detailed judgement could have been pronounced later."

"If there was a doubt of allowing the Mumbai Police to continue, then only I believe it's taking so much time. Otherwise, I fail to understand this delay in a case where not just a day but a single hour is also extremely crucial for evidence," added the lawyer.

Earlier, in a video shared by Shweta, she made an appeal saying, "I request everyone to stand together and demand CBI inquiry for Sushant. We deserve to know the truth. We deserve justice for Sushant. Otherwise, we will never find closure. We won't be able to live a peaceful life. I request you from the bottom of my heart to stand together and demand a CBI inquiry because we have the right to know the truth. Thank you."
