Sushmita Sen Reveals How She Met Boyfriend Rohman Shawl For The First Time
During a recent interview, Sushmita Sen revealed how she met her boyfriend Rohman Shawl. Read on to know how it all happened
Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen is soaking in love with boyfriend Rohman Shawl. The couple, who often posts cute pictures with each other along with lovey-dovey messages, make their fans swoon over their chemistry. In the past, the former Miss Universe had taken to social media to announce that she isn’t single anymore. Sharing a picture, she had written, “Rohmancing life ABSOLUTELY!!!"
Now, in an interview with Rajeev Masand’s Women We Love, the actress bared it all and recalled their love story. The actress revealed that she didn’t meet Rohman in any fashion show, in fact the two actually met in a very millennial way. She told Rajeev, “No, actually we didn't. It's a very very beautiful serendipity story. He sent me a direct message on Instagram and I didn't check direct messages because I wasn't sure if you check it you may be allowing that person to start communicating with you. So, I had too many of these direct messages and I had not opened any and there it was. Touch screen phone ki jai ho because I had gone to the DM to look at what all had come and I was scrolling through and this boy broke something in the room and I went talking to him and when I came back I had obviously opened one of the DMs and it was a message from him and I was like 'Oh my god, how did I do that, god I should never be talking when I am near a phone’.”
Sush then said that when she was on her way to the US, she got another message from Rohman which read, "I am jumping from one room to another, I cannot believe you responded."
Sushmita further added, "And then, I got to know him slowly when I came back and that too was an open offer to come play football with him."
The actress also revealed that Rohman had once asked Sushmita to come and see him play football but the actress then suggested that they should rather go out for coffee. She quipped, "And, that was it when I met this person, I felt I had known him my whole life. It was that simple."
