Sushmita Sen recently made a perfect comeback with her super interesting and intriguing web series Aarya. The actress essayed the role of Aarya, who fights against all odds to protect her family and manage the family business after he husband’s demise. Now, according to the latest reports, actor-model Sushmita Sen’s daughter Renée Sen is all set to mark her Bollywood debut. The report states that Renee, who turned 21-years-old, just recently, has started shooting for her upcoming film titled Suttabaazi.
As per a Bollywood Hungama report, Suttabaazi that features Sushmita’s daughter Renée Sen is set in the lockdown period. The movie focuses on the relationship of a mother and daughter who are at odds with another in a conservative household, says the report. Reportedly, the makers of the film have promised that Suttabaazi will be exploring the theme of women empowerment. In the film, Renée Sen plays the role of the rebellious daughter, while Komal Chhabria and Rahul Vohra play her parents.
Meanwhile, as the film is directed by Kabeer Khurana, the filmmaker shared some pictures of Renée Sen from the shooting sets. Sharing the picture, the director wrote, “Suttabaazi - coming soon! Introducing Renée Sen with Rahul Vohra (Swades, Made in Heaven) and Komal Chhabria (Padmaavat, Mardaani 2).” He also shared Day 1 pictures from the sets of Suttabaazi. Check them out!
Speaking of Kabeer Khurana, the filmmaker marks his feature film debut with Suttabaazi. As per the report, the film is likely to release on the OTT platform. Rahul Vohra who plays Renée’s father was seen in Swades, Made in Heaven, while Komal Chhabria, who is essaying the role of the mother features in Padmaavat, Mardaani 2, last.
