Sushmita Sen's Daughter Renee Says 'People Need To Be Nicer' As She Opens Up On Being Repeatedly Asked About Her Real Mother

Sushmita Sen is an inspirational woman for many reasons. The stunning actress is one of the most popular single mothers who challenged social norms and raised her kids on her own. After winning the title of Miss Universe, she went on to adopt two girls - Renee and Alisah. Renee is slowly carving a niche for herself in the entertainment industry. She made her acting debut with the short film Suttabaazi.
She is also super active on social media and updates her fans about her whereabouts. From sharing her gorgeous photos to family moments, Renee's social media posts are an absolute treat to her followers. In a recent interview with PeepingMoon, Renee revealed that social media users drop a lot of comments on her real mother. She said, "You know, on my Instagram, I was asked this question: Who's your real mother? I would just like to say, 'please define real mother'. What is a 'real mother'?"
She added, "I understand that people are interested in our lives, in what we eat. It's fine, but I do feel like people need to be nicer to each other. My truth is very out and open. But what if it's someone else? We don't know how it'll affect them. So yes, I feel like we must be a little sensitive. For me, it's different, because I've grown up with this... For me, it doesn't matter.. But for someone else who wants to keep their life private, we don't know how your question can affect them. Let's not ask until a person tells you themselves."
Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Renee opened up about her equation with mom Sushmita Sen. She called the actress 'motivating' and went on to reveal that their relationship has changed now that they are in the same field.
