Sushmita Sen's Daughter Renee Wants To Have An Identity Of Her Own; Expresses She Is 'Aware Of The Privileges
Sushmita Sen’s daughter Renee, who made her debut with a short film Suttabaazi, says she wants to create an identity of her own in the showbiz.
Sushmita Sen, a strong-headed, an independent and talented woman, is an inspiration to millions of us. And, now, it looks like her daughter Renee wants to walk on the similar lines. Renee, who recently made her debut with a short film titled Suttabaazi, revealed how she is aware of all the privileges that she gets for being Sushmita’s daughter. However, Renee aspires to make an identity of her own. Well, her performance in Suttabaazi has opened to a great response and we won’t be surprised if Renee signs a Bollywood biggie soon.
In an interview to IANS, Renee said, “To me, Sushmita Sen is my mother and I am aware of the privileges. I am very blessed that I am her daughter but at the end of the day, she is my maa. I, along with my sister, am being raised to be strong, and to have an identity of my own.” In an earlier interview with HT, Renee opened up on the kind of feedback she received from Sushmita and her boyfriend Rohman Shawl; it’s all things positive.
“I think she cried a little. Alisah was very happy. She’s very observant, so when she says you’ve done a good job, you know you’ve actually done a good job. And Rohman Uncle said he was very proud of me,” said Renee.
Upon being asked about taking forward her career as an actor, Renee added, “I want to be a star who can act. I believe that if I am a good actor, I will also be a star!”
