Sushmita Sen was seen with her ex-boyfriend Rohman Shawl at Lakme Fashion Week
Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen recently walked the runway for fashion designer Anushree Reddy days after surviving a massive heart attack. The actress looked drop-dead gorgeous in a lime green embroidered lehenga and flashed her million-dollar smile while posing. What caught everyone’s attention was her ex-boyfriend Rohman Shawl was seen walking next to Sen. Notably, the two announced their break-up last year but are still good friends.
In a video shared by a paparazzo on his Instagram handle, the Main Hoon Na actress could be seen walking with Rohman. Just then, she got mobbed by her fans for pictures and Sushmita happily posed with them. An elderly man was also seen clicking a selfie with the actress. Like a protective friend, Shawl waited for Sushmita and after pictures, he walked by her side towards their car. The way Rohman took Sushmita’s care, it is evident that they both still share a great bond and care for each other. To note, the duo has been spotted together on multiple occasions post announcing their separation. The 47-year-old actress also hosted a live session wherein she spoke about her experience of walking the ramp as a showstopper. The actress shared, “I am really feeling so happy because thanks to Anushree, who had the courage to ask me to come and walk and be her showstopper. I think most people would have just been like, now, it's not a good time. I tell you…women…It's beautiful when we stand by each other and bring out the best even in the most trying times. That’s beautiful.”
This was Sushmita’s first public appearance since surviving a heart attack earlier this month. Work-wise, she will next be seen in the third season of her cult show Aarya. She also has an upcoming film ‘Taali’ which is based on the life of transgender activist Gauri and her emergence in society.
