Sushmita Sen Talks About ‘LOVE’ And ‘RESPECT’; Did She Just Hint At What Went Wrong With Ex-Boyfriend Rohman Shawl?

Days after Sushmita Sen announced her split with boyfriend Rohman Shawl, the actress was seen going live on social media. Amid all the speculations and rumours people have been wondering about the real reason for her separation from Shawl. During the live session, a fan asked the former Miss Universe what respect means to her, Sen briefly spoke about how she prioritizes respect and love.
“Respect means everything to me. I put that above love any day. Because love is something you feel with great intensity and you fall out with the same intensity. There is the movie business and books that take you on a journey of very unrealistic love, where there are no responsibilities and problems,” Sushmita Sen said in a recently hosted Instagram Live session.
She continued, “But where there’s no respect, love has no meaning. Love will come and go but if there is respect, love gets a second chance to express itself. But if you only focus on love, it will be temporary. If there is no respect, love takes a backseat. That’s how important respect is for me.”
Well, Sushmita latest comment over respect and love has left more room for speculations and netizens are wondering if the 42-year-old actress just hinted at what went wrong in her relationship with Rohman.
Former couple Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl’s relationship was one of the most admired tell-a-tales in Bollywood, and fans couldn’t stop crushing over them. However, in an unfortunate turn of events, the couple decided to part ways. Announcing the same, Sen in a statement on social media shared that the relationship was long over, but the love remains between them.
During a chat with Hindustan Times, Sushmita shared why she didn't try to hide the truth about the end of her relationship with Rohman.
On the work front, Sushmita is enjoying the success of her web series Aarya 2. The second season received an amazing response.
