Sutapa Sikdar Shares A Throwback Picture Of Irrfan Khan With Babil; Reveals How Terribly His Son Misses Him: 'I Can Never Fill The Void You Feel'
Legendary actor Irrfan Khan died on 29 April 2020 after suffering from health complications. His tragic demise left a void in Indian cinema that can never be filled. Though it’s been more than a year now since Irrfan Khan breathed his last, his fans and family members are still struggling to come terms to with his death. The late actor is fondly remembered by his friends, fans, and family on social media. On Saturday, Irrfan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar revealed how terribly' their son Babil misses his father.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Sutapa shared an unseen throwback photo featuring Irrfan and Babil alongside an emotional note. In the click, the two can be seen having a conversation on a film’s set. Alongside the old shot, Sutapa wrote, “When father and son work on the same film 'on' and 'off' camera - I don't know what they were discussing but it always seemed like a life or death matter (whether it be the difference in the taste of today's nimbu Pani to that of yesterday's or perhaps some actual existential inquiry).” 

She added, “Irrfan do you miss our conversations? Babil misses these terribly. may you give me the place of second best conversation companion in your life Babil atam. I know I can never fill the void you feel. #parenting#irrfan#fatherson#babilkhan.” This photo made fans of Irrfan Khan very emotional as they said they too 'terribly miss their hero'. One fan commented, “What to say as We miss him terribly..too.” Another said, “Mera Hero Miss You.” 


Irrfan Khan passed away after battling a long fight with cancer at the age of 53. His sudden demise left everyone heartbroken and devastated.
Meanwhile, his son Babil is making his acting debut with Netflix's upcoming film 'Qala'. Directed by Anvitaa Dutt, the film also stars Tripti Dimri and Swastika Mukherjee. Qala will be bankrolled by Anushka Sharma’s production house Clean Slate Filmz.
