Kangana Ranaut, in an interview with Republic TV, gave names of the Bollywood biggies such as Karan Johar, Mahesh Bhatt, Aditya Chopra for running the Bollywood gang in favour of star kids and sidelining outsiders who are better with their acting skills. She also called Swara Bhasker and Taapsee Pannu, B-grade actresses, who favour nepotism, in spite of which they don’t land with meatier roles in the film, Swara Bhasker has taken this criticism as a compliment, find out how!

The Manikarnika, while calling Kangana and Taapsee B-grade actresses, also said they have better acting chops and looks than Alia Bhatt and Ananya Panday. The Veere Di Wedding actress Tweeted, “ -Needy outsider- B grade actress(But) - better looking & better actor than Alia Bhatt & Ananya!” Net net I think this was a compliment!Thanks Kangana! After this interview was aired on the respective channel, Taapsee Pannu too has responded to this comment of Kangana in her tweet.

The debate about nepotism in Bollywood came back in conversation after the untimely death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput a month ago.


Kangana took a dig at these actresses being all okay with nepotism was heard saying during her interaction, “I have only to lose here... because I know tomorrow they will get some 20 needy outsiders like Taapsee Pannu or Swara Bhasker who will get up and say, ‘Oh! Only Kangana has problems with nepotism. We love Karan Johar’. If you love Karan Johar, why are you both B-grade actresses? You are both better looking than Alia Bhatt and Ananya (Panday). You both are better actresses. Why don’t you get work? Your whole existence is proof of nepotism.
