Bollywood screenwriters Kanika Dhillon and Himanshu Sharma tied the knot with each other in a private ceremony. Kanika, known popularly for her work in Kedarnath, Manmarziyaan took to her social media and made the announcement by sharing some lovely pictures from their wedding. In the first Instagram post that she shared on Monday, only their hands and faces were visible, while their faces were hidden. Kanika wrote, “Here is to #2021. #newbeginnings #himanshusharma.”
Kanika shared yet another post in which she shared some gorgeous pictures of her and hubby Himanshu Sharma. Kanika was all smiles, and was seen in a bright pink outfit with golden embroidery, while Himanshu complemented her look in a white kurta-pyjama with a mustard coloured Nehru jacket. Soona after Kanika shared the pictures, Taapsee Pannu showered love on the couple, and dropped several heart emojis in the comment section. Kanika is also the writer of Taapsee’s upcoming film Rashmi Rocket.

Himanshu is Swara Bhasker’s ex-boyfriend. Kanika Dhillon was earlier married to filmmaker Prakash Kovelamudi, but they divorced last year. Himanshu is known for working on films such as Raanjhana, Tanu Weds Manu, Zero, among others.
Kanika Dhillon had announced their engagement by sharing some stunning pictures from the ceremony in December 2020. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Himanshu had said after their engagement, “After being in a relationship for a while now.. we are happy to announce we are engaged and getting married soon. Looking forward to a happy and great life ahead.”
