Swara Bhasker Slams ‘Mob Justice Driven’ Trial In Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death Case: ‘Predecided Who Is The Murderer Without Any Conclusive Proof'

There has been outrage on social media, in the days following Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Many of the late actor’s fans, as well as famous personalities such as Shekhar Suman, Roopa Ganguly, and others demanded a CBI probe into Sushant’s death. Netizens called out star kids and Bollywood biggies, pointing out issues such as nepotism in Bollywood. However, the case took a turn after Sushant’s father KK Singh filed an FIR in Bihar, accusing Rhea Chakraborty of abetting Sushant’s suicide, among several other allegations. Now, Swara Bhasker has reacted to the ‘mob driven media trial’ in Sushant’s case, and said that the murderer has been predecided by the media without any conclusive proof.
It was recently that journalist Barkha Dutt shared Sushant’s psychologist Susan Walker’s statement saying that media coverage that trivialized mental health and smearing a living person had dismayed her, which is why she felt that going public was her duty. Swara Bhasker reacted to this tweet of Barkha Dutt’s and replied that it seems like the murderer has already been predecided by the media without any conclusive proof.
Swara Bhasker’s tweet read, “Technically she may be breaking an ethical code except that there was a genuinely exceptional circumstance in this case. Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh leveled several serious accusations against Rhea Chakraborty, and you can read pointers of the allegations here.
