Taapsee Pannu Ditches Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story Shoot, Promotes Thappad On Choti Sardarni- EXCLUSIVE
Taapsee Pannu was to promote her upcoming release Thappad on 2 shows- Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story and Choti Sardarni. But, she ditched the former and shot only for the latter. Here's why
Actors go to great lengths to promote their films on a large scale. We see several Bollywood celebs making appearances on various TV shows. Now, Taapsee Pannu who has been avidly promoting her upcoming film Thappad, ditched a show at the last minute.
It so happened that the actress was to appear on 2 TV shows namely Naati Pinky Ki Love Story and Choti Sardarni. She promoted her film on Choti Sardarni by shooting for an episode, but she didn’t shoot for Naati Pinky Ki Love Story.
The actress cited the reason that she was running out of time as she had her film screening to attend this evening. So, she wrapped up the shoot of Choti Sardarni around 5 in the evening and headed straight for the screening.
The team of Naati Pinky, who were excited to shoot with the actress was naturally disappointed as she couldn’t shoot for the episode.
Speaking of her film Thappad, it’s based on a socially relevant subject and depicts the story of Amrita played by Taapsee, who files for divorce from her husband after he slaps her in front of a group at a party.
The movie is directed by Anubhav Sinha, produced by Anubhav Sinha, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. It will be releasing on Feb 28, 2020.
