Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput passed away due to suicide, a strong debate on how the outsiders are treated in the film industry has taken the social media by storm.A lot of people are openly discussing nepotism, gangism and more on social media platforms. Not just fans, even actors and members of the film industry are coming forward to talk about the cons of nepotism. Now, it is Taapsee Pannu who has shared her views and revealed losing out films to starkids.

In an interview with India Today, Taapsee revealed that she got replaced in the film by starkids, however, she refused to be bitter about it. She shared that she does not need any validation from anyone and that none of her films are backed, funded, produced by the so-called 'movie mafias' and it does not make her any less successful. She was quoted saying, "I have been replaced in a lot of films by star kids. But I refuse to be bitter about it. I reached a point when I didn't seek validation from them. That's when I decided to make my own path. You don't need any validation, they haven't come to screenings of my films or tweeted about them, but does that make my films bad? No."

She also spoke about co-existing in the industry with the starkids and one cannot achieve that by bullying and name-calling. She was quoted saying, "We have to co-exist. It's not that star kids will be driven out and only outsiders will stay, or vice versa. Right now, if we are saying that insiders have the power and are miss using it against the outsiders. What are we doing, we are turning the table and now harassing them and bullying them. How will we attain equality like this?"
