Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya Movie REVIEW: Shahid Kapoor-Kriti Sanon's Human-Robot SCI Fi Love Story Is One Hell Of A Laugh Riot!
Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon is a refreshing take on sci-fi as it puts forth a catchy Human-Robot love story plot that is something new in Bollywood. Such kind of storyline is explored in the Television space already with shows like Bahu Hamari Rajanikant and the nostalgic Karishma Ka Karishma but this offering treats moviegoers with an entertaining comedy ride that has some great display of emotions at the same time. Scenes that the audience would genuinely connect with. Written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the dynamic duo proves how simplicity blended with comedy and romance programmed with Shahid and Kriti's beautiful chemistry can do wonders!

The film introduces Aryan who is a robotics engineer by profession, happens to fall for a young woman SIFRA who turns out to be a humanoid and goes by full name (Super Intelligent Female Robot Automation). Dimple Kapadia plays Shahid's on-screen aunt heading AI robotics company in the USA that turns out to be the initiator of their sweet yet complex love story.

Well, the supporting cast should get a special mention for creating a cliche Indian family led by Dharmendra, Rakesh Bedi and Rajesh Kumar to name a few. Ashish Verma as Shahid's colleague friend gets noticed as well with a couple of funny scenes. But what noteworthy is Shahid Kapoor returning to the genre of romance after a hiatus of five years.

The Kabir Singh star plays the character with a lot of grace and the actor's suave dialogue delivery brings charm to the screen. He has pulled of a couple of intense emotional scenes in the film with such ease and that's how you make a comeback on the big screen after all. Now let's talk about the real hero of the film which is Kriti Sanon. The actress deserves all the applause for playing this complex robotic character with conviction and her antics are enough to make you laugh. Her pleasant screen presence and the final act are whistleblowing factors of the film. The 33-year-old commands the narrative so smoothly and despite playing a character which is a humanoid without a heart, she leaves many of the hearts pounding with her overall performance.

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is one hell of a masala entertainer that the audience wouldn't regret watching on the big screen. Raghav's iconic indie pop hit gets justice as the revamped version creates an enigmatic vibe for the viewers. Even all the songs of the film ensure there is not a single dull moment in the entire 2 hour 20 minutes thanks to Tanishk Bagchi and Sachin-Jigar's lively composition. To conclude my review, Shahid and Kriti's chemistry is hands down the best part about this movie, to say the least and audiences would love to watch them on screen yet again.

Janhvi Kapoor's cameo in the climax scene hints at a sequel as well and who knows the makers might announce it soon! Overall Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha is worth your time and money if you are planning to watch an enchanting unconventional love story on screen filled with humour and emotions. I would say go for it!
