Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for the release of her much-anticipated film titled Thalaivi. She will be seen playing the role of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. Currently, the makers of the movie are waiting to release the film as soon as theatres open. On Tuesday, the actress took to her Instagram stories to share an important update about the film. She informed fans about the film getting a U-certificate for its Tamil release. She also spoke about how even young kids can watch it.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Kangana Ranaut shared a poster of Thalaivi and informed fans about the Tamil release. She wrote, “Thalaivi gets U certificate in Tamil Version, which means after Queen and Manikarnika one more film of mine which every children can enjoy with parents and grandparents.” The actress shared the poster of the film in Tamil and mentioned about it getting a U-certificate. She also explained that with this certification, every child can enjoy the movie with parents and grandparents. Ranaut mentioned it is her third film after Queen and Manikarnika to achieve this accreditation.

Meanwhile, the trailer of the Kangana Ranaut starrer was released recently. It received a phenomenal response from fans and critics. The movie stars Kangana Ranaut, Arvind Swami, Bhagyashree, amongst others. It is directed by A.L.Vijay. Thalaivi was scheduled for a theatrical release on 23 April 2021. However, the release date of film was postponed indefinitely due to second wave of COVID-19 and rising cases.
