Thalaivi: Makers To Unveil The First Look Of Arvind Swami As Late Politician MGR On His Death Anniversary
Today came the sneak-peek of actor Arvind Swami from the movie, Thalaivi. Helmed by A. L. Vijay. Second, Arvind will be seen playing the role of late politician M. G. Ramachandran, this first look though did not unveil the actor’s face, it assured of unveiling his complete look tomorrow at 10 am. As tomorrow marks the death anniversary of the former Tamil Nadu CM, the first look has the backshot of Arvind waving at the people probably during a huge gathering with some of his subordinates standing behind him.

In this black and white picture, the actor is seen dressed in a shirt and lungi sporting a Nehru cap with a wristwatch and oxford shoes completing his look as onscreen MGR. Sreedhar Pillai, trade analyst tweeted, “First look of @thearvindswami in #Thalaivi Tomorrow morning at 10AM being the death anniversary of Puratchi Thalaivar #MGR . Produced by @vishinduri @ShaaileshRSingh#Thalaivi #MGR #ArvindSwamiasMGR @KanganaTeam.” The former CM of Tamil Nadu, passed away on December 24, 1987 after multiple organ ailment in Manapakkam.

National Award Winning actress Kangana Ranaut who plays, Jayalalitha, the central character in the film, just announced about wrapping up of the film. In her social media post, she wrote, “And it’s a wrap, today we successfully completed the filming of our most ambitious project Thalaivi- the revolutionary leader, rarely an actor finds a character that comes alive in flesh and blood and I fall in love so hard but now suddenly it’s time to say bye, mixed feelings.”
