One of the biggest series, The Empire is soon going to release on the OTT platform. After the makers released the trailer of the series, the fans can’t wait to witness a grand and larger-than-life series. Even though the series gave them Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani and Game Of Thrones vibes, the anticipation to watch it is pretty high. However, the highlight of the series was Dino Morea’s menacing look as Shaibani Khan in the series. Undoubtedly, the actor looked extremely hot and captivating but his look instantly reminded everyone of Ranveer Singh’s Alauddin Khilji from the blockbuster film, Padmaavat.
Talking about his deadly look, he was quoted by ANI. “The look for the show is something director Mitakshara and I worked on. We needed Shaibani Khan to be deadly, and from the feedback, I've been getting, I think we have succeeded. Everyone who has seen the trailer so far has loved Shaibani Khan's look. Comments like savagely sexy to delicious - quite interesting I'd say,”
Fans are completely mesmerised to see Dino's look and have found a resemblance to Khilji. Being compared to Ranveer Singh's character, Dino said, "Khilji is obviously a compliment, Ranveer looked and played that part beautifully.” Just like Khilji, Dino's character also wears furry long coats, has long locks with hair braids and sports a heavy rugged beard.
Just recently, Dino Morea took to his Instagram account and dropped a small glimpse of his onscreen character and backed it with, “Shaibani Khan! Power rests on the throne, and in the hands of the people behind it. Stay tuned for Hotstar Specials #TheEmpire”
Meanwhile, The Empire, produced by Nikkhil Advani, is based on the chronicles of the Mughal empire. Starring Dino Morea, Kunal Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, Drashti Dhami, Aditya Seal, among others, the series releases on August 27 on OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar.
