Dutt biopic that stars Ranbir Kapoor has been delayed by 3 months. Initially slated for a March 30 release, the film will now hit cinemas on June 29. 
Ranbir Kapoor Shooting For The Dutt Biopic
This comes from a reliable inside source close to Sanjay Dutt biopic. Ranbir Kapoor has already started preparing for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra which also features Alia Bhatt. "The fantasy adventure is taking up a lot of his time, and Kapoor has asked Hirani for some time off the Dutt biopic,” says the source.
The source further informed, “Ranbir asked Rajkumar Hirani for bulk dates, he wanted to be excused for a considerable period to concentrate on Brahmastra. The director was happy to accommodated Ranbir and Ayan’s request.”
Ranbir Kapoor Looks Like A Spitting Image Of Sanjay Dutt
That sounds reasonable. Both Hirani and Mukerji understand the pulls and pressures of movie-making. They have sorted out Ranbir’s dates in an amicable fashion. The delay means more time for Hirani to spruce up his film. He’s known to be a perfectionist and he seems to have welcomed a chance to invest more time in working out the finer details of the biopic. We had told you in our first story on this delay that Hirani wants the film to be as close as possible to reality.
Ranbir Kapoor Shooting For The Dutt Biopic
Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra also features Amitabh Bachchan. Brahmastra is the first time Ranbir and Alia will be seen acting opposite each other. First in a series of three films, Brahmastra is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan. This is third time good friends Ayan and Ranbir are working with each other. Ayan had first directed Ranbir in Wake Up Sid.
Sanjay Dutt
The Dutt biopic stars Sonam Kapoor, Manisha Koirala and Dia Mirza in the lead roles. Last month, SpotboyE.com told you that Southern star Aditi Seiya has joined the star cast and will essay the role of Priya Dutt.
The film will also star Anushka Sharma who will be playing a journalist, Karishma Tanna will portray one of the actresses with whom Sanjay was linked to and Manisha Koirala will be seen as Nargis Dutt.
