Kapil Sharma's team says that 'The Kapil Sharma Show' is not going off-air
The Kapil Sharma Show has been making headlines for multiple reasons lately. Recently, there have been rumours of the show going off air. According to multiple reports, it was being said that the show is going on a forced break after the recent controversy surrounding Kapil and Vivek Agnihotri's film The Kashmir Files.
For the uninitiated, director Vivek Agnihotri had claimed that the film's team was not invited on Kapil's show for promotions because there was no big star. Kapil had denied it. Anupam Kher, who is a part of the film, later shared on a news channel that he was called on the show, but he had refused. When Kapil thanked the veteran actor for clearing the air, Anupam responded with a cryptic tweet saying, "I wish you had posted the full video and not the half-truth." However, now, Kapil's team has refuted the rumours. TOI quoted a source saying, "There's no truth to these rumours (of the show going off air). The show isn't getting suspended abruptly, and there are no plans of pulling the plug on it. We are shooting as usual. In fact, shoots have been lined up till the end of April."
It is being said that the TKSS team might take a break owing to Kapil's tour to the US and Canada. The source added, "We are working on creating a bank of episodes, which will air when the cast is away on tour for a month in June. The show may take a short break around that time because Kapil likes to take short breaks between sessions. But there is nothing concrete on that front yet."
