The Kashmir Files: Kangana Ranaut Slams Bollywood Over Their Pin Drop Silence, Says,' Bullydawood Aur Unke Chamche Sadme Mein Chale Gaye’

Kashmir Files helmed by director Vivek Agnihotri is receiving rave reviews from both the viewers as well as the critics. The film traces the real-life and tragic incidents of the Kashmiri Pandit exodus in the valley and the subsequent genocide by Islamic militants. The audience has labeled the movie as one of the ‘most hard-hitting’ films on Kashmir to date. While the audience is blown away by the film, no statement or word came out from Bollywood which has miffed Kangana Ranaut.

The Queen actress has yet again called out Bollywood for their silence over the film. Kangana, who never shies away from speaking her mind, took to her Instagram story and slammed the Hindi film industry over their pin-drop silence on the Kashmir Files.

The actress wrote, “Please notice the pin-drop silence in the film industry about #thekashmirfiles not just content even its business is exemplary... investment and profit proportion might be such a case study that it will be the most successful and profitable film of the year. It also broke many myths about theatres being exclusive for big budgets event films or visual/VFX spectacles post-pandemic, it is breaking every myth and preconceived notion that was there and bringing back the audiences to the theatres, 6 am shows in multiplexes are full it's unbelievable!!!"

Concluding her note, she said that whole Bollywood and their sycophant have gone into deep shock, but now their time is up. In another Instagram story, she shared a picture of trade analyst Taran Adarsh’s post about the first-day collection of the Kashmir Files and  wrote, "no cheap publicity, no fake numbers, no mafia anti-national..desh badlega toh filmein bhi badlenghi, Jai hind.”

This is not the first time that Kangana has taken a dig at Bollywood. A few days ago,  Deepika Padukone’s Gehraiyaan calling it trash. Ranaut also took a nasty dig at Alia Bhatt and her film Gangubai Kathiawadi.
