The Kashmir Files Overshadows Akshay Kumar's Bachchchan Paandey, Collects 179.75 Crores At The Box Office, Overtakes Sooryavanshi And Spider Man's Collection
Vivek Agnihotri’s directorial ‘The Kashmir Files’ is not slowing down anytime soon and the film’s success is reaching new heights. The film has successfully managed to bring back audiences even without much promotion. The film that revolves around the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the valley by Ismalic militants in the late 80s and 90s has received massive love from the fans as it continues to roar in the second week of the Box Office collection. It has earned 179. 75 Crore on its second Monday.

The Kashmir Files opened with Akshay Kumar’s multi-starrer film ‘Bachchchan Paandey’ and now, it has surpassed Akki’s film collection at the box office. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the figures on his Twitter handle.

Clearly, Anupam Kher starrer has overshadowed Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bachchchan Paandey’ which was released in the theatres on March 18. Not only this, it overtook ‘Sooryavanshi ‘and ‘Spiderman’ collections by a big margin.




Vivek Agnihotri’s film The Kashmir Files is receiving rave reviews not only from the masses but also several b-town celebrities who have loved the film for its gripping and eye-opening story. From Kangana Ranaut to Superstar Aamir Khan everyone gave thumbs up to the film. The movie was released on 11th March and stars Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi, and Mithun Chakraborty in stellar roles.
