She had undergone a terrible heartbreak,
They said she was loving him just on the rebound.
But he was confident,
That it was just taking her time to come around.
He was open about his love for her,
They said he's smitten, but she doesn't love to the brim.
He cared a damn and continued to be demonstrative,
She still hardly spoke about him.
He called her the Reigning Queen of Bollywood,
They said she will dump him and doesn't care about his loveria.
He always escorted her till her car,
But she never flirted, not even with the camera.
She is more successful than him,
They even said career was her only orientation.
Unlikely- but did he develop few apprehensions,
And ask for Divine's Intervention?
And then, they said the inevitable has happened,
She has shown him the door!
She dismissed it off as celeb goss,
And took to the dance floor!!
A few drinks down at a house bash,
She finally unbottled her emotions.
How long he had waited for this day,
And now, she had no inhibitions.
She danced as closely with Ranveer as she could,
She was clobbering sixes.
You are the man of my life,
So what if my neck tattoo still exists?
And then it was a foregone conclusion,
That these two hearts are clubbed.
She was definitely not going anywhere,
Certainly not to the man she once loved.

Take a look closer and you will find ‘even’ in the ‘odds’
Those who thought that the lovebirds would never end up together,
