Amid all the hush-hush, an old interview of Deepika getting candid about her obsession with Princess Diana went viral.
In a 2018 interview with a news portal, Deepika was asked which person, living or dead, would she love to play on screen. Interestingly, Deepika quickly responded that she is obsessed with Diana. She also said that she can watch her videos over and over again, especially those when she is interacting with people who have come to see her.
Deepika revealed that she was shattered when that news broke. The Bollywood diva even added that she has never cried for anyone else but she cried for her. According to her, she feels a strange connection with her. It is like she knows her without even having met her, reported ETimes.
