Neetu Kapoor dearly loved her husband and friend. She had often expressed her admiration for him and now, an old video from Karan Johar's show, Koffee With Karan has surfaced the internet and fans were left teary-eyed after experiencing the lovebird's chemistry once again. 

Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor were one of the most adorable couples of their generation and they were known to be each other’s pillars of strength. Unfortunately, the veteran actress has been through a lot but, the sudden news of Rishi Kapoor’s illness in 2018, left her devastated. However, she decided to stick by him through thick and thin. His sudden demise in 2020 left her heart broken and she stood back up while shifting her focus on work. 

A Reddit user has now shared a throwback clip of the adorable couple discussing how no other woman could ever handle the tantrums of the actor. In the clip, Neetu Kapoor revealed that Rishi Kapoor’s entire family called her his 'punching bag', and 'medal' for handing him over all the years. 
However, in the end, Neetu Kapoor shared that she is no longer a 'punching bag'. She said, "Mother Teresa, punching bag, and what all they used to call me. But now I am not. No longer, because now I have grown and have an identity of my own, and he has also clam down and they share a better relationship."

Shortly after the video went viral, netizens expressed their opinion, while one user wrote, "I feel sorry for Neetu, but she does seem happier after her husband died. If only she stopped posting those pathetic stories. She is both a victim and an aggressor." Another commented, "Like many women who suffered from patriarchy but also upholds the patriarchy."

Previously, when Neetu Kapoor graced the stage of Indian Idol 12, the actress revealed that her late husband, Rishi Kapoor had proposed to her via telegram. The late actor was in Paris while she was in Kashmir for a project and suddenly, she had received a telegram from him, in which he had written that he missed her and loved her.
