Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput were in a relationship for almost six long years. They fell in love with each other on the sets of their TV show Pavitra Rishta and spent some amazing years together creating memories. Their fans were sure that the couple would settle in matrimony. In fact, quite a few times, Sushant and Ankita had also spoken about getting married and spending the rest of their lives together. However, destiny had something else planned. A few years ago they parted ways. However, not without some nasty rumours around their relationship.
In 2013, reports in Times Of India and India Today stated that Ankita and Sushant had a massive showdown outside Yash Raj Studios. The rumours had it that Ankita was very pissed with Sushant and after some argument, the actress gave him a tight slap. Ankita is said to have checked his phone before bursting out with rage. However, later Sushant and Ankita, both rubbished these rumours.
"There is no truth to it. It has not happened outside YRF as reported. It is absolutely wrong. I can never ever slap Sushant," Ankita was quoted saying. On the other hand, Sushant had joked about it and stated, "I do lot of things every day for which I deserve a slap but that has not happened unfortunately yet. Our relationship is quite sorted out... People like to spice it all," as reported by PTI.
In the world of showbiz a lot of rumours and speculations make it to the headlines, but this one appeared from nowhere. Sushant and Ankita broke up three years post this rumour created stir, in 2016.
