Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were once considered as the IT couple of the Hindi film industry. They often made the headlines for gracing red-carpet events and other gatherings together. They even opened up about how the other had become a pillar of strength when in need. However, in the past few weeks, reports of troubles brewing in their marriage surfaced on the internet. While they didn’t comment on the reports, they were spotted together cheering for their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan during her school's annual day.

Now, an old interview of Abhishek heaping praises on his wife for giving his daughter a good upbringing. In an interview with Filmfare, he opened up about his parenting technique and how he doesn’t believe in being a tough parent. He went on to add that he is neither strict nor indulgent with his daughter. Talking about his thought process, he revealed that parents should be loving and encouraging and all they need to provide their kids with emotional support and assurance. He added, “Today’s children are extremely intelligent. Further in the interview, the 47-year-old actor credited his daughter’s good upbringing to his wife. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, he had said, “She is the one who provides our daughter with all of the care while I am away working on films. Aishwarya and I are teaching her how to be a good person. For the unversed, The divorce rumours surrounding Ash and Abhishek resurfaced again in November when the diva turned 50 years old. While she was seen celebrating the occasion with her mother and daughter, none of her in-laws wished her. Even Abhishek had posted a very dry wish for his darling wife, which had raised concern amongst their fans. 

For the unversed, the actors tied the knot in 2007 in Mumbai in a closed-off ceremony and welcomed their daughter Aaradhya in 2011. On the work front, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan 2 and Abhishek Bachchan was seen in the sports drama Ghoomer alongside Saiyami Kher.
