Filmmaker Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan often makes headlines for the controversial statements passed by the celebrities. Over the years, many have graced the couch of the chat show and indulged in various topics, especially talking about personal life and professional achievements. Recently, a video snippet from an old episode of the show surfaced, where Deepika Padukone wonders aloud if she can slap the host. The actress, who is all set to welcome her first child with hubby Ranveer Singh, arrived on the show with actress Priyanka Chopra. 

In the video, shared by a fan page, Karan asks Priyanka about her ‘Daddy’s little girl’ tattoo. She showed it off to him and explained how it was his handwriting. He turns to Deepika and asks her what happened to her tattoo. For the unversed, the Fighter actress had tattooed ‘RK’ at the bottom of her neck when she was dating Ranbir Kapoor. Irked by the sudden questioning, she giggles as tells him that it’s still there. The 51-year-old filmmaker goes on to ask her, “Now who, Rajeev Khandelwal will have to date you?” The actresses start giggling, Padukone turns to her Bajirao Mastani co-star and asks her, “Can I slap him, please?” Without missing a beat, Chopra tells her, “You must, somebody must.” Without taking the hint, he proceeds to tease her by asking if the K can be made into an S. It is to be noted that Deepika and Ranveer Singh had not made their relationship official during that time. Talking about the couple, they fell in love with each other while working together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2012 movie Ram-Leela. They got married in 2018, six years after dating each other. Being together for more than a decade, they truly are the epitome of couple goals and have set the bar high for all the lovers out there. They are all set to take the next step in their relationship and embrace parenthood. They will be welcoming their first child in September 2024. 

On the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Fighter alongside Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. She will be next seen in Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD. She will also be making an entry into Rohit Shetty’s cop universe as Shakti Shetty. She will be sharing screen space with her husband, Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, and many others in Singham Again.
