Bollywood’s controversy queen Kangana Ranaut is known for being blunt when it comes to expressing her thought. She often makes the headlines for her controversial statements. It was in 2019, when the actress had talked about parents consenting to their kids having sex out of wedlock. During the interaction she had said that if someone wants to get intimate, they should without worrying about anyone.

She spoke at the India Today Mind Rocks event, where she got candid about her sex life and her parents’ reaction when they came to know that she was sexually active. Taking about the concept of sex, Koimoi quoted her saying, “Sex is an important aspect of everyone’s life. When you want to have sex just have it, don’t be obsessed. There was a time when you were told to marry someone, and your emotions were directed towards that person. The 35-year-old actress went on to say that parents should encourage their kids to have safe and responsible sex. She also stressed on that fact that monogamy is very important. She said, “I think parents should be okay with children having sexual partners and children should be having responsible sex. They should definitely use protection and monogamy is very important. “To keep it simple, I think when a child hits adolescence, should know automatically. Like my parents were shocked when they got to know that I am sexually active. So what do they expect? My mother got married when she was 19 and father was 21. So I don’t know what they expect but I want to say to parents they should be okay and they should encourage children to have safe sex,” she concluded.

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will be seen in Emergency, her first solo directorial project. She will be essaying the role of India’s late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. A period political drama, the movie is based on the emergency period in India during the mid-70s, which was announced by the then Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. She will play the role of the late Prime Minister in the film. The movie also stars Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, Satish Kaushik and Shreyas Talpade in pivotal roles.
