Parineeti Chopra once opened up about her rapport with Ranveer Singh and revealed that he would never wear pants, netizens have now reacted to the old statement after resurfaced on the internet
Bollywood actors Parineeti Chopra and Ranveer Singh share a great off-screen bond. Having starred in Ladies vs Ricky Bahl (2011) and Kill Dil (2014), they are one of the most adored pairs of the Hindi entertainment industry. While fans are eager for them to collaborate again, Pari’s old interview has resurfaced the internet, leaving the netizens baffled. For those who don’t know, before making her Bollywood debut, she worked in Yash Raj Films and scheduled interviews and events for other actors including Singh.
During an interview with Rediff in 2014, Parineeti recounted the number of weird things Ranveer does. Speaking about the same she explained how he had a habit of roaming around without pants, which is why she always knocks on his vanity van. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, she said, “I am used to him doing anything. He can come without his pants and sit next to you. This happens so often. I never enter his vanity van without his permission. Sharing an anecdote from the sets of Kill Dil, Chopra revealed that they were preparing to shoot a romantic, emotional scene. While she was busy doing her makeup, he came and stood next to her without any pants on. She had to shout at him as she was in the zone to shoot for the sequence, for Singh to go wear his pants. Calling him ‘shameless,’ Pari revealed, “I guess he doesn’t like to wear pants. This has been happening since Band Baaja Baraat. I was doing the marketing of the film and many times, when I entered his room, he would be sitting wearing nothing. He likes to take off his pants in public.”
Well, the old interview immediately went viral after netizen posted a snippet of the article on the subreddit Bolly Blinds N Gossip with the caption, “old tea on Ranveer Singh & Parineeti Chopra.” Reacting to the old news, one wrote, “But who enters someone's private trailer without knocking or their permission?” Another wrote, “That being said…you could put on some pants when someone comes in.” One commented, “As a introvert person ranveer Singh is my worst nightmare I could never do things he does.” Another commented, “Sorry why is Parineeti entering anyone’s private space without knocking. Parineeti Chopra was last seen in Imtiaz Ali directorial Amar Singh Chamkila. Co-starring Diljit Dosanjh, the movie is a biographical film based on the life of late musician Amar Singh Chamkila, who was brutally killed at a young age because of his thought-provoking songs and lyrics.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh was last seen in Karan Johar’s comeback directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. He has Rohit Shetty’s multi-starrer Singham 3, Kiara Advani co-starer Don 3, and Shaktimaan remake in his pipeline. He is also awaiting the birth of his first child with wifey Deepika Padukone.
