Veteran actress Rekha shares a great bond with Kangana Ranaut. Despite being in the industry for a long time, the Umrao Jaan actress never addressed any as her daughter. But things were quite different at 2019’s Marathi Taraka event when she addressed the Manikarnika actress as her daughter. She also went on to say if she ever had one daughter, she would be like the Panga actress. How Sweet! The two were seen engrossed in a conversation at the event as well.
Also, the gorgeous black and gold Kanjeevaram saree draped by the Queen actress was gifted to her by Rekha. And like always Kangana carried this elegant fabric with ease and grace. She styled her ethnic look with a bun topping it up with a gajra, a necklace and juttis completing her look. The event also saw the two enigmatic actresses sharing the stage, as Kangana presented an award to the veteran actress. Rekha on accepting the award was seen praising her.
Rekha praised her, called Kangana the real-life Jhansi ki Rani, this happened before the release of her movie, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.
