Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are one of the most loved and popular on-screen couples of Bollywood. They two had set the screen on fire with their crackling chemistry in movies like Maine Kyun Pyaar Kiya, Yuvvraaj, Ek Tha Tiger, Bharat and Tiger Zinda Hai. Salman and Katrina’s forthcoming flick, Tiger 3 is among the most anticipated films for obvious reasons. Earlier, due to the second wave of COVID-19 and damage to the set due to cyclone Tauktae, the shooting of the film was derailed.
Now, as per the latest report in Mid-Day, the Sultan actor and The Jagga Jasoos star are all set to resume the shooting this month. Both the star will kick start the shoot in Mumbai from July 23 onwards. Not just this, the makers have reportedly slated their international schedule for August. It is said that producer Aditya Chopra has apparently given a go-ahead to the idea of resuming shoot after assurance that the crew has got at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccination. Also, director Maneesh Sharma has already been prepping to return to shoot with Salman, Katrina, and Emraan Hashmi.
A source close to the development was quoted as saying, “Of the cast, only the leads will report to the set for the first few days. Maneesh sir wants to film a few dramatic sequences with them.” The report also added that Emraan Hashmi, who will be seen playing an antagonist in the film, will also be joining Salman and Katrina in the schedule to shoot a pivotal confrontational scene.
