Salman Khan’s two upcoming 2023 starrers Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Tiger 3 have exchanged places
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films ever since it was first announced. While the makers and lead actors struggled to match up with the film’s shooting schedule, the third instalment in the Tiger franchise is almost complete.
Interestingly, Khan has a knack for getting his way with people who are close to him. Therefore, it comes as no surprise to know that he has pulled off a startling movie scheduling feat, entirely of his own volition, reported ETimes.
Now, it is being reported that the two upcoming 2023 Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Tiger 3 have exchanged places.
Here’s how the seismic shift happened.
“Salman personally requested (producer) Aditya Chopra to vacate the Eid slot for Salman’s home production Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Aditya had finalized the Eid slot for his Tiger 3. But Salman convinced Aditya that the Eid slot is traditionally occupied by Salman’s home productions,” a source close to Salman Khan was quoted as saying by ETimes.
The report also suggests that Tiger 3 has now gone into the Diwali slot.
Surprisingly, Chopra has complied with Khan’s request as he is not known to give in to star whims. But then Salman Khan has always been given preferential treatment at Yash Raj.
Salman Khan demanded and got his full price for Ek Tha Tiger, his first film for Yash Raj, however, other A-listers happily work at a discounted rate for Yash Raj. Previously, the 56-year-old actor had turned down the projects offered to him by Yash Raj including Chak De India, which Shah Rukh did.
For the unversed, Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali had a major fallout over Inshallah as he wanted Inshallah to be shifted from the Eid slot to accommodate his home production.
