Kangana Ranaut is elated to announce her first production venture under her production banner, Manikarnika Films Pvt. Ltd. The National Award-winning actress has finally stepped into the production aspect of the filmmaking business. The actress’ first production venture is titled Tiku Weds Sheru. She broke the news as the film went on floors. It stars social media star Avneet Kaur and Bollywood’s renowned actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Besides them, while introducing the lead of the movie, she shared their onscreen names Tasleem Khan aka Tiku and Shiraz Khan Afghani aka Sheru respectively with their character posters. 

The project will be released on one of the OTT giants, Amazon Prime Video; the Thalaivii actress also shared this being a special one for her, as she will be receiving Padma Award today. Her Instagram post that unveiled the first look poster of the movie, read, “Receiving Padma Shri honour same day as beginning my journey as a producer is extremely special to me Sharing with you all the first look of my first production venture under Manikarnika Films Pvt. Ltd Tiku Weds Sheru Here’s a piece of my heart Hope you all like Filming begins See you soon in theatres first.”

Meanwhile, introducing her movie lead, she penned catchy captions that read, “चलो तो चाँद तक , नहीं तो शाम तक Meet Tasleem Khan urf tiku,” and “हम जब मिलते हैं, तो दिल से मिलते हैं , वरना ख़्वाबों में भी मुश्किल से मिलते हैं Meet Shiraz Khan Afghani urf Sheru”
