Tip Tip Barsa Paani Trivia: Raveena Tandon Reveals She Had Her Period And High Fever While Filming The Rain Dance
Right from dancing barefoot to having high fever, Raveena Tandon has done everything to make Tip Tip Barsa Paani a memorable song. And it, indeed, is!
Raveena Tandon is one such actress, who not only showed her acting prowess but also gave some electrifying dance numbers like Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast, Sheher Ki Ladki and Kya Lagti Hai Rabba. Raveena definitely gave all her female co-stars back then a run for their money with her talent and dancing skills. The Andaz Apna Apna actress ruled everyone’s heart in the early ‘90s with her iconic song Tip Tip Barsa Paani from Mohra (1994) opposite Akshay Kumar.
The Mast Mast girl Raveena Tandon looked every bit of sexy in a yellow saree and raised the temperature sky high with her sensuous dance moves. In an interview with Pinkvilla, the actress remarked a few facts about filming the song. She stated it took 4 days to shoot at a construction site. On top of that, Tandon had to dance barefoot with nails and stones lying all around the site. She went on to say that the tank water was very cold which led to high fever. Not only this but also revealed that she was on her periods and had even bruised her knees while shooting for the song.
In one of her earlier interviews with Asian Age, the actress stated, “I was never comfortable doing provocative songs. But this time, I was convinced that it would be okay. And, it was. The song was fabulous and the choreography, though erotic, was never suggestive or vulgar. I’d never do anything even remotely off-colour in my entire career”
The song Tip Tip Barsa Pani is crooned by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik. Now, we will be able to see a new version of Tip Tip Barsa Paani in Rohit Shetty’s film Sooryavanshi picturised on Katrina and Akshay.
